So I checked with the manager at work that does the scheules and I asked her if she’d done the one for next week and she said yes. I asked her if I got the time off and she said yes! I’m going home! Woooohoooo! Aug 20th-26th baby! I left last August for school and I’ve only been home once. And it wasn’t for Chirstmas either. It’s just really expensive to go home.
But I’m going and that’s what matters.
So I’ve finally got a job! Ok, well I do have one come September that I was hired for a while ago,but that doesn’t get me through the summer. I finally got hired at Wendy’s working part time. One problem with the job though is that it’s at the other end of town which means it takes forever to get to work. Oh well. It’s summer. I don’t mind the hour and ten minute bus ride.
The owner of our Wendy’s apparantly owns the one downtown so I’m going to see come Sept if I can get transfered to the downtown one and just work weekends. It would be a lot easier to get downtown on weekends then to the north end industrial section. I’m also going to see if I can go home for a bit at the end of August. I know I need to take the first week of School off. Orientation week and I’m an Orientation volunteer (hopefully! If I can get my work schedules around the Training for it then definitely).
We got a new subletter like a week ago. She moved in with her boyfriend for the rest of the summer. Unforunately, ever since they moved in, the dishes in the sink have been piling up and it’s getting pretty disgusting. I don’t know what to do about it. Should I talk to her or just leave a note? I went through this both semesters in res and I finally just ended up quitting and doing the dishes. I don’t want to do their dishes and mine, that’s not fair. I’m working and I’ve got my own stuff to take care of.
Any advice guys?
