I passed!

October 25th, 2009

Woohhooo! I had a really bad midterm last week. I was having ahard time with the class and I thought I was going to squeak by with a 50% but I did way better then I thought! 63%! Ok, so 63 isn’t really THAT great but considering the class average was 67% I didn’t do THAT bad. Thankfully the class goes all year so I don’t have to really worry too much about this midterm. There’s two more a final and a project. I’ll just do better on everything else lol. If I bomb the next midterm I’m so screwed lol. Unfortunately, the class is a requirement for my minor.

Boo stupid classical theory.

*goes back to writing her practicing historian essay that she’s probably going to fail -.- *

Looking to buy a car?

October 25th, 2009

Being in university can be pretty hard. It’s a pain to do my groceries by bus. I’m limited by the bus times to where I want to go and when. I can’t just jump in a car and go since I don’t have one. Lately, I’ve been thinking about getting a car because the buses are becoming too bothersome. I’ve finally found a website that can help me do it! This used cars website focuses on all aspects of researching for a new or used car! It even gives you a link to insurance companies and their rates, which makes my life so much easier. So if you’re thinking of getting a new car or buying a used one, I definitely recommend this website!

Writer’s Block: Yes, offense taken

October 25th, 2009

My step mom does shit like this all the time. I speak up against her. All the time. Every once in a while my dad will too, even in a joking manner and I tell him that it’s not cool to do that. Any of my family, I’ll stand up and tell them that racist or homophobic comments are not cool.

I was raised not to care about the colour of someone’s skin. Doesn’t bother me. I know this is corny but my mom told me when I was little that if I imagined everyone without their skin, everyeones the same inside. I’m also totally against homophobic comments. Some of my best friends are gay. I don’t think any less of them. It’s just a part of who they are just like people being straight is a part of who they are. It’s all the same. Whatever floats your boat.
