Last week was Reading Week or Spring Break for my school. I went home for the first time since August 5th, 2008.
I went and spent a day with Haley on the Monday and we made cupcakes. Her 18th birthday was the following Monday and her birthday party was the Friday. Since I wasn’t going to be there for either, we decided to have our own birthday party for her and we played Rock Band and made cupcakes. It was awesomeness.

We made two dozen cupcakes so we had enough for 12 each. We then used 2 tubs of icing and coloured it with food colouring so we could decorate them. This was a cupcake that Haley made. It features both of us! It’s super cute and I love it. We have a few pictures of it too. We also made cotton candy because she needed to try out her cotton candy machine for her niece’s birthday party the day after hers. We made the stuff green and it was actually pretty fun to make!

I also went to Montreal on break. We drove 8 hours in a SCHOOL BUS, ya that’s right, a freaking school bus. THAT was a fun trip lol. So the first night we went there, we decided to go to the Casino since the gambling age in Quebec is 18 and most of the people I was with were 18. I’m 19 so I can be in Ontario casinos.
The  casino was pretty cool. It had like 6 floors and it was fun to try to explore. We went to the bar and had some drinks. I have a sex on the beach and it cost me more or less $10!! So expensive. Later, we were kind of hungry, so we went to this Italian restaurant in the casino and had another sex on the beach and had tomato soup. Now I was expecting the red stuff that you get in cans right. Wrong! It was like this browny beige tan colour but it was still really good! I wish I would have taken a picture of it to show you guys.

After the Casino, we decided to go out clubbing. So the group of people I was with decided to take taxi’s back down to the area our hostel was at because there were some clubs there. Four of them got into a taxi and we called for a 5 seater van, which by the way, when we called the taxi company back, they said there are no such things as 5 seater vans but excuse me! We took one there! Ok, so technically its 6, but you have to ignore the driver and his seat. Whatever, so we ended up taking the metro system back to the area where the rest of our group was and by the time that we got there, they had left since it had been like an hour. We stayed out hopping arounhd some of the different clubs then went back to the hostel at like 3amish. I didn’t get into bed until like 3:15 and I kept waking up with the littlest thing and I think I got up somewhere around like 8. Talk about no sleep.

So the next day, we went downtown Montreal. I ended up getting separated from the people I started with but ended up with two other people who I spent the majority of the day with. As we were walking around downtown, we passed a strip club that was supose to open in like 10 minutes so we stayed and waited. We watched as girls were going in and buzzing themselves in so we decided to do the same. Turns out that that was for the staff only! Oppp! We thought it was to keep kids out. Oh well! LOL. We left like no longer after the show started. Our stripper was like 50 with sagging tits. Don’t they have to be out of the business after a while?
We wandered around downtown and then went to Vieux Montreal (Old Montreal) and started walking around down there. We ended up finding a lights festival. I then split from them to meet up with the majority of the people to goto the planetarium. The show was pretty awesome. We went back to the hostel for pizza dinner and then the same people I was out with before went out clubbing. I joined them for a bit then went back to the hostel because I had a huge headache.
Needless to say that my trip to Montreal was fun and I wish I didn’t have to leave!
