So, Obama very recently became president and let me tell you, I’m freaking extatic! The really sad part is is that the rest of the world (esp. Canadians) seem to be more involved in the elections and in his presidency then Americans. I wonder what that says about them. It’s kind of bad when people from other countries have more interest in the politics in a particular country then the people who live in that country. I think it might have to do with the fact that the U.S.A is the most powerful country in the world. Currently anyway. Lots of countries have had their turn like Britain, France, Holly Roman Empire etc. U.S.A has had their turn since the end of WWI and I think it’s slowly ending. With the war efforts going on and the economy going down, everyone is suffering. There’s going to be a new super power in the world but the question is which country? Won’t be Canada lol we’re too nice

January 17th, 2009
Alcohol rehab is a website an information website on the rehab center Promises.
Promises have two locations, one in Malibu and one in West L.A which not only have amazing rooms you or someone you know to stay in, but they have amazing rehabilitation programs ranging from alcoholism to cocaine to just detoxing in general.
Their website is very nicely laid out and information is easy to find. They give detailed information about the treatment programs they offer as well as a page on what you can expect from the center. They give individualized care and personalized treatment plans, a comprehensive and balanced approach. They have talented, compassionate and dedicated team and a high staff-to-client ratio.
There are two links for each of their locations that give explains what each location is like with a youtube video.
Who goes to Promises? Well according to their website, people from all walks of life do. This isn’t some fancy place for the celebs. This is a place for anyone to go to and feel comfortable while they recover from an addiction.
Promises has over 20 years of experience and they have a dedicated staff. What more could a person ask for? All in all, this rehab center Promises seems like an amazing place to go.

So Cold
January 16th, 2009
You know, I’m from Nothern Ontario and I am use to having -20 C during the winter, but hell, even -30 is cold for me. That`s with the windchill in case you`re wondering. I had to break out my actual winter coat. It`s made for ice fishing so it`ll keep me warm in like -50 C.
If people down here would dress properly then they wouldn`t be so cold. So many people today aren`t dressed for the weather…and they wonder why they`re cold. It`s really not that hard. I`d rather dress warmly and avoid frost bite. I happen to like my limbs they way they are.
So the place I looked at last night was a dump. No wonder they wanted $220 plus utilities. Blah, I wouldn`t live there if you paid me. They were nice enough people though. Regardless, when he said no lease and cash only, alarms went up in my head. So I let two of my roomates know where I was going to be and if I`m not home by 6 or haven`t contacted them by 6 to let them know that I`d be late then something was up. I was out of that place in like 10 minutes. Not even, maybe 5. Then I hoped on the first bus which was the industrial aparantly and it took like an hour to get back downtown. Then I had to transfer buses to get back to the university and I didn`t get home till like 6 and I got on the damn first bus at 4:40.
So res life is good. My roomates are nice, like I`ve said before. If I become friends with anyone it`s going to be Sarah and Jacey. They`re more like me but that`s fine. I drop by their room every once in a while to say hi and talk to them or I`ll talk to them in the kitchen. Sarah is fun to hang out with, same with her friend Jen.
