Happy 19th to me!

You know what really sucks? My friends forgot my birthday. Athena’s in play practice and Haley is doing god knows what. I got messages on facebook from people I’m friendly with but not exactly friends so I guess I should be happy that someone besides my mom, dad, grandmother and godmother remembered.

It sucks because Haley is my best friend. I reminded her like earlier this week and knowing her she forgot again.  Oh well.

I’ll list what I got for my birthday later…when I get it lol.

I woke up at 7:45 this morning, extremely hungry and pissed off because there was sun in my face. So I stayed up to eat breakfast and wait for the sun to go away off my pillow. Finally at like 9:15 it went so I went back to sleep and didn’t get up until after 12. Normally I wouldn’t sleep so long but I just got back from a 3 day band trip on friday and I’m slightly sick and it always takes a few days to recover from them.

I got some cool stuff while we were in Toronto. My mom had given me like $300 for my birthday to bring with me to Toronto to get stuff. I’ll post pictures later.

Out of all the people who did forget my birthday, the one that hurt the worst was Pila. She’s my best friend, more so than Haley. I’m just hoping that she got insanely busy and her forgetting was completely accidental etc situation. This hurts more than when my godmother forgot my 16th birthday a few years ago.

For any of you who aren’t Canadian and have NO idea what the May Two Four (24) weekend is, it’s the Victoria Long Weekend. It’s been nicknamed Two Four (at least in my town lol) and usually involves tons of underage drinking and parties. Victoria Day usually falls on the weekend that has the 24th on it, so that’s how it got its name. (I think anyway. Correct me if I’m wrong!)

So how am I spending this long weekend? Indoors for one. Why you ask? a) It’s supose to be raining like ALL weekend so I’m not leaving the house and getting wet unless I have to and b) I have a ton and a half of homework! This is what I get for procrastinating in ISP. Lesson 16 was due for two of my courses today and I’m only on Lesson 12. I’ve got to do as much as possible this weekend AND do my unit case study for law. Why you ask? Well… my high school band is leaving on the 21st until the 23rd to Toronto to go and see the Opera and goto Wonderland. Then on the 25th it’s my birthday! (19th btw) and Frankly, I don’t exactly feel like doing any homework on my birthday. Especially since I plan on drinking, since 19 is the legal age in Ontario.

I was catching up on some of my Despair commenting and I followed a link from one of the sites I was supose to be commenting on to this site: Neonglow.net I looked at the layout and fell in love with it. I’m pretty confident that my graphic skills are good enough to pull off something like that. I just need to figure out the coding, which shouldn’t be hard. I really just need to figure the footer out and I should be good. I love the simplicity of the design. It’s the something I’ve been looking for. The style of layout that you can easily change just by different colours. I lOVE it!

EDIT 2: I have two lesson’s (12 and 13) done for ISP Course A and I’m half way done lesson 12 for ISP Course B! Woot! lol I doubt I’m going to get lessons 12-15 done for two courses and my law homework done this weekend, but I’m going to be doing as much as humanly possible!

Does anyone else hate spring cleaning? I do, and I’m only doing my room. It’s like 2:30 and I’ve been at this since 10 am. I’ve still got to put away some more clothes, clean my bed, vacuum, dust in a few more places, make my bed. Thankfully I’m ordering pizza tonight for dinner so I don’t have to make it (plus I forgot to take the sole out of the freezer last night too lol)

Band trip is coming up later this month on the 21st-23rd which is like 2 days from my birthday (25th!) and I’ll be 19. I can’t wait! Back to work for me I guess!
