New Blog!
January 10th, 2008
Ok, so I decided that I really didn’t like b2 afterall and went back to Wordpress xD and now for some reason it works. So instead of coding my own layouts since I’m too lazy too I’m just using pre-made ones. Go Me!
So it’s almost exam time joy *sarcasm* and I have a unit test this friday (a.k.a tommorow) in chemistry that I’m probably going to do not so good on. Hopefully I’ll get enough marks to pass the silly thing!
In Feb our new semester starts and here’s my scheduale so far:
Spare
Grade 11 Physics
Lunch
Grade 11 Anicient History
Grade 12 Law.
I’m thinking of droping Physics since I’m in grade 13 and Haley is droping it. I really don’t want to be in there without anyone I know plus I’m better at the social sciences then the sciences.
Since my school is small, there are only certain courses offered that are taught by teachers. Other courses you can do by corespondance or ISP (independant study program). ISP is what I’m going to be doing with the Ancient History. So I was looking at courses that are in Ontario online and I saw this really sweet senior history class—not offered as a ISP I quickly found out. Crappy. So I keep looking at the social science courses and I see World Religion a grade 11 college/university mixed course so I’m like hmm well history and religion is pretty intermixed so it might help. Guess what? Not offered as an ISP but there’s the World Religion grade 11 open course which is.
You guys are probably sitting there thinking, what the heck is the difference between the two courses? Not much actually. In Ontario and Canada, there’s a difference between College and University so your split into a stream when you start high school. Mixed courses is bascially the difficulty level. It’s harder then college level courses but somewhat easier then university level. O or open means any level can take it.
So you see that if I’m in University bound courses, an O course will be really really easy for me. I guess it would be ok though since I have a 4U law (Grade 12 university bound law) and a 3M (grade 11 mixed) ancient history class.
I guess I’ll take it, it should prove to be fun!

Welcome to Shimmerin Angel!
Well, I like your premade layout hehe.
ISP sounds interesting. I might do that.

wp IS love (:
glad you’ve decided to switch back
to wp! (: all the best to you for
your exams! mine’s around the corner,
too (:
I did religion in my final years at school – it was more interesting that you would have thought. It’s funny how much you DON’T get exposed to in every day life in terms of what other people believe and do for their beliefs.
I hope you work out your subjects!
Hope your chemistry test went ok for you! I’m still using greymatter, just haven’t got round to installing wordpress yet :-s
